Default Dyno Numbers on my new LGM 418 Solid Roller

I don't post here much so I don't know if Corvettes are welcome, but just in case anyone is interested. I recently had my 02 Z06 upgraded by Lou at LG Motorsports.

We went with a 418 Solid Roller and it made 513 RWHP and 512 RWTQ through the full exhaust. We are still tuning it so we believe more is there to be had. One problem is the stock intake. I am buying a Weiand and having it ported to help that problem. Its running way too rich now so I am buying LS1 edit so Lou and Jeremey can dyno tune it.

It is amazing, like running the juice all the time. Doesn't hook up until fourth. Getting it tubbed over thanksgiving. We ran a 11.21 with the air filter hitting the mass air flow sensor and shutting down the power, so I think that high tens are there on motor.

Cheers

Everyone, including Corvettes (or, more precisely, their owners), is welcome here!

Great #'s pal. If 10's aren't in the bag with over 500 RWHP, I'd say something's definitely wrong...oh, wait.....you got a solid axle under there yet? What was your MPH?

Those are excellent #'s for N/A. Care to share any of the specifics (exhaust, cam, heads, etc)?

Very impressive! What is the bore and stroke? 4.080 X 4.000?

I will go ahead and jump in for Randy. Fenris, You are correct. As far as the cam goes, Its not that big, But I am not to say.

The heads Are ported LS6 castings that flow ~ 330. As far as tuning goes, there is a lot left. The little filter in the VeraRam setup for the vettes was dislodged, and ended up blocking off the element in the MAF. This caused the PCM to go nuts, and the car fell on its face- Same reason why it did not MPH very well at the track.

CR is on the high side of 10 since it will most likey see N20 in the future once the NA side of things get ironed out along with some Fuel up grades.

It makes about 450#s of Tq @ about 3500 RPMs, so it "Pulls like a 6 yearold heading for the candy aisle at K-Mart"

sounds great Randy! I'm glad to hear that your car is back up and running after the Corvette Shootout. There's definitely more power to be had with some added tuning. You only have up to go on the HP. Now go buy you a set of manly tires, and put the clutch to work with a 6,000 RPM clutch dump.

Keep us posted on the setup!

Trevor

10's are a no brainer. You'll get that easy. What size cam do you have? What is your compression ratio? And what heads are you running?
