While I've never talked with Joe or seen any of his products I do business with many people on the east coast and they have said that JPR does great work and that he stands behind his work. Cartek on the other hand <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> they may treat the locals well and the owners of this site well but they don't give 2 ***** about anyone else. Their customer service out right sucks and they are misleading people when they say they sell their signature Cartek hydraulics, when in fact the are just used POS hydraulics off of their customer's cars <img border="0" alt="[bullshit]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_bs.gif" /> I've even heard them referred to the "MMS of the East" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" /> Anyway, back to the topic of thread I think it's perfectly obtainable to get 400 rwhp with the mods you listed for an A4.

Joel, no problem buddy. I have no hard feelings onr did I think you were taking a shot at Joe. I just didn't tihnk you realized how different his new stuff is, that's all.

Granted a year ago, it may have been a different story, but some of the things that Joe has been doing have made a drastic difference in his setups. That's why I'm trading in my heads for a new setup.

That's all JS. I really don't care what your motives are, and honestly I don't think you came in with motives and I didn't attack you over it.

Its all good JS. I would have private messages you this info, but you don't check that. I sent you a couple messages in the past that I still have as being unread. Oh well.

Yes you did, I was standing right there with Erin when it was said and it's funny you know exactly when and where it happened.

I said "warned" because I though you were up to something from what you said towards Erin, it was never a threat of sorts and you know it, And yes, I can fukin read, JS brought it back up again for no real good reason. But, it seems as though I can read between the lines better though. Leave my customers and accounts like Straight Line Performance out of this. So basically, stay on your side and I stay on mine, your argument is going nowhere with me.

My car had then and still to this day a Pro Torque 2800 stall convertor not a 3200 stall.

My car has all STOCK suspension then and now. I have nothing taken out of the car and that includes the swaybar.

I agree with you, that my MPH should be higher for the amount of power I'm making at the wheels...the point is, my car is not dialed in yet!!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
As for the post that this is turning into a CARTEK vs JPR post... I was just trying to state in BLACK AND WHITE that my car was never worked on by JPR.
I just wanted to add one more thing to this. I would have NEVER said anything at all about any cars from your shop if you had not mentioned my car in this post first. I have never bashed your cars on line on any board ever. YOU started this BS and now you have to deal with it.
Blah blah,
"As for the post that this is turning into a CARTEK vs JPR post... I was just trying to state in BLACK AND WHITE that my car was never worked on by JPR."
I think you already established that fact, Duh and I am still online because I am e-mailing my current head customers that there orders will be a little late because I am leaving for a 1 week Vaca... It's called consideration. And no, it takes a hell of alot more than this idiotic incoherent rambelings to make me loose sleep, you would be surprised to know what I don't loose sleep over, but thanks for worrying about me. Wait! I will be right back, I found a funny story I wanna post!
<EDIT>
nevermind, it's been deleted.
" If "SilverTA" from LA gets on the dyno with his A4 TR224, it will back up what I am saying. To date, Stacey C. has dropped 6 tenths and gained 6 mph head change ONLY without dyno tunning.
Joe."
Sorry Joe. I havent gotten to get on the dyno yet. I am scheduled at Thunder on December 3rd, but am hoping they have a cancellation and will have me sooner. I was running 12.2-110 with my MMS 224 cam in 1400 DA. A couple of weeks ago I went 11.63-117 with your heads and 1350 DA. NO tuning yet! If the rain ever leaves and I get some -DA's, I cant wait to see what she'll run. I posted before that my raceweight was ~3370lbs, but I went to the local dump and their scales differed from the scales at RRR quite a bit. On their scales I weighed 3480 with the only difference being I had street tires on the back instead of draglits/slicks.
I am sorry this thread got hijacked. JPR makes some badass fuggin heads. YOU WILL BE SATISFIED!
<strong>There is a big ET/MPH difference between A4's and M6's at the track even more so if modded if you haven't figured that out, lets take a two different trans A4 vs M6 stock cars for example, Stock A4 running 13.10 at 108, throw a 3,600 stall or better and it will drop 5-6 tenths in the quarter, it happens all the time, so that car can run 12.5x's at 109 on a 1.7x 60' mark all day with a tire under it which happens all the time too. Now a stock M6 will run say 13.10 at 110 but will not go faster in ET untill you put torque multiplication to it, ie gears for a stick, or a converter to an auto. Now gear that M6 that just ran a 13.10 and it will drop to a 12.70 in change or better at 111 on a 1.82 60' mark. So, take your 3,200 stall 273 gears, your headers,cat back,224 cam and 417 rwh and you run 113 MPH, see ow that dosen't add up? You should still be running at the very least at your weight 115 mph which would be 117 in a stick with the same power. Now a stick car is harder to 60' mark unless you have a great clutch and a minimum of 3.73 gears optimal 4.10's with good driving skills to go along with that, you can go by the MPH of a stick or auto to get an idea of what ET is left in the car from a better launch or lack of tire rotation off the 60' mark meaning, 118 trap speed in a M6 is equal to 116 mph in an auto, there is about a 2mph difference between the two trannys to an extent. Dennis has a stock geared, stock convertered, stock weight WS6 S2 car on stock F1's with the sway bar on that runs in the 116-117 range at 11.92 that dynos only 411 rwh THROUGH CATS but I have already mentioned that, see what I mean? But thats a street car with cats on and always will be. It didn't add up unless there is more issues with your car than you have posted from the first time you ran it in the 12.14 range and I didn't see any mention of problems untill recently (trans shift) And this S1 12.20 ET car that you mention (Erins?) runs 11.90 at 118.72 now with a set of 4.10 gears in it now instead of stock 3.42's so I fail to see the funny part?</strong></font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Helvetica, sans-serif">
Naa, more like these rambelings...
"Do you honestly think 113 is all her car is capable of? Sure, ignore the fact that she has a brand new setup with tuning problems, thats really fair and intelligent of you to bring that to the table I don't see anyone bringing up the fact that your many month old flagship LS6 headed car can't even crack 11's. Yeah, see where I'm going with this?
And WTF does "leaving her sig on the way out" have to do with anything? She puts her sig in every freaking post.
Ridiculous"
I already told you that Bear ran in the 11's at 3,800 lbs plus, or do you wanna ask him too? I have his phone number if you want it or e-mail him so the rest of your "story" is moot, Ask Erin Phill, thats what was said so why don't you hear it from the source since my word isn't good enough. I don't remember seeing you there when it was said. BTW, how dem head werk out fur ya? should have listened to Tommy Hu? His old S1's with a 218 cam through a 12 bolt and 4.10's layed down 408 / 392 SAE Rwh playa hater, need to call him too? (856) 498-0292.
Alright, I had enough fun, I WILL see you all at the track. (no smiley face)
Hey Joey Price,
From reading these posts, and from seeing your previous posts. I've come to a conclusion, you are a pathalogical liar. I don't know if you just lie and know it, or do you actaully believe your own BS.
I bet all your underhanded, decieteful, behind the scene remarks stem from some type of jealousy.
Joe, get a life. Go steal yourself some more time slips. Later.
I just want to stick my head in here real quick. Bear is an awesome dude and I hope he isn't taking any of this personal. Regardless of the shop wars, I think most of us would still help each other out. Except for Zack, I never liked that dude. I know personally, if Bear ever needed my help for ATapping, my skinnies, whatever, I'd help him out. I just hope he isn't taking this personally, I like the guy....
Speaking of Erin, has anyone talked to her? She used to post a lot on ls1.com but now I don't think I've seen her post in a while. I know she got her own place so I guess she is busy with that?
