Hi would a 06 ls2 intake fit a 99 ls1 ?

Im pretty sure it does, but the throttle body bolt configurations are different so you'd need a new one to fit it, and in the end its just a lot easier to toss an LS6 in there without a lot more costs. Someone correct me if Im wrong please.

Anyway just use an LS6, it flows better anyway.

The LS2 intake will bolt up to the LS1 heads with no problem..but you have to run a 90 MM throttle body with the LS2 intake..your best bet is to get a LS6 intake and run your current throttle body..you might want to port it and polish it..that is good for 5 or 6 HP..and much better low end throttle responce..

Plus the LS1/LS6 fuel rail does not fit on an LS2 intake.
