Default Dynoed Today with "Absolute Speed" Heads!!!

I have a 2000 WS6 Ram Air TA 6-speed and dynoed today for the first time..mods include the following:
Lid/K&N
Borla/offroad pipes
SLP Long tubes
baby thunder racing cam
and "ABSOLUTE SPEED" Heads-- the Stage 1X series...Man was I happy!

Numbers off a MUSTANG dyno so you could add around 15hp to these numbers!
389.8 HP to the rear wheels
382.7 Ft. Lbs. of torque

So we're talking about 440-450HP to the fly if the dynojet was calibrated to my car..this dyno was with STOCK tuning, STOCK 3.42's, and Heavy 18" Chrome corvette wheels on the rear!!! I was very impressed and I recommend his heads to anyone..he does excellent work click the banner to check out his website!! Nice numbers man! Just so you know though, those 3.42's will give you a higher hp on the dyno than say a 3.73 or 4.10.

Yea I would put it on a DYNOJET too.

Thanks for the compliments and I apologize the cam is not Thunder racing..Absolute speed custom ground a 215/221 114 lsa cam..

The heads get sent to my friend jay..he does all the porting and everything and he's very good. besides all that..he has the best prices you will EVER find!

How much lift and what ramps on the cam?

Are you planning to add an LS6 intake and ported TB?

all porting work and assembly is done by jay at absolute speed, any machine work is done by a very well known and experienced shop, merkel racing engines. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Good numbers Chris.I like the way your car sounds and idles with stock tune.

A ported TB would give you some HP.Good luck with your set up and enjoy the extra power.

Thanks !! I forgot to mention that I do also have a LS6 Intake but have not yet ported my throttle body..I should be doing that soon along with some tuning.

Man I can't wait to get my set done by Jay "Absolulte Speed"! I have mostly everything done as to bolt on's and a decent cam as well. I talked to him and he is the man and when his prices are on the table they can't be matched by no one.... Great HP #'s and excellent gains. Can't wait till my car is on the edge of 10's N/A. Best et so far is a 12.0 fully loaded nothing removed and still have a 100 TNT shot in the spare tire area <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" /> . Just an FYI my car too on a dyno seemed to run rich but the a/f was perfect he said it might be blow by thru the PCV so I did the pcv mod and got rid of it..

The cam specs are 215/221-.541/.549 114lsa, compression ratio was left stock {10.1-1} since chris wants to eventually put a g trim on the car, The cam is also a good blower and n.a. daily driver cam, we were able to install the set up without any tuning or throttle blade hole enlargement, The stg1x heads and our 215 cam was designed for the consumer who just wants an easy "install and drive" package with stock tuning and no idle concerns
