I am looking for a lumpy cam that is also reliable for an everyday car that can also take nitrous that will be installed down the line. What's the best cam to go with and puts up the best #'s, I have a '99 6-speed Z28? Thanks in advance guys!
Do a search and you'll find about a million responses to the topic you are asking about. I think most people are getting worn down on the subject.
The bottom line is, its hard to screw up as long as you go with 220-230 range duration, 550-570'ish lift and a 112 (lumpier) or 114(smoother) cam.

Nitrous cams typically have wider LSA and a longer exhaust duration.
For daily driver reliability, emissions, mileage, idle quality, etc. keep your duration on the low side (around 218), especially if you have stock heads, exhaust, & gears. The stock heads stall out at around .525 lift, too.
Match your cam to your other mods/components, and you won't go wrong.
