please help...what valvesprings????? ok well i am swaping my HOT cam out for a futral motorsports 226*/230* .576"/.580" 114 lsa i beleive im going with absolute S2 heads....what springs should i run? I don't want to be another person on here posting about a busted shortblock due to a broken valve spring <img border="0" title="" alt="[Sad]" src="gr_sad.gif" /> im not a wealthy person lol..so what would be recomended for long life on a high lift cam like this one?thanks for any help guys...later,

Re: please help...what valvesprings????? If you're going with a Futral cam, I'm pretty sure Allan Futral will be able to give you all the information you need regarding the right springs to survive with his cam.

hey BADZ do you think those 918's will last though...i think im mistaken but arent the 918's the one's everyone is having problems with as well as the 941's? or is there a difference between the single 918's and dual 918's besides the damper?...hhmm come to think about it i havent heard of any news on a dual 918..thanks bro..i will look into it...do you know what the dual 918's are rated at lift wise also?...thanks alot <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Re: please help...what valvesprings????? also another question....if i don't have the heads milled at all or only .010 will there be any PTV clearance issues with this cam? i know .580 exh. is semi stout..just wondering if there might be any contact with the PTV?thanks again <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
