Default #241 heads on 5.3

How much milling will it take to get a 61cc combustion chamber on 241 heads? What is the most milling you can do without messing up the intake seal area?

66.67-61=5.67

.007*5.67= 0.03969 milling

or....

66.67-61=5.67

.005*5.67= 0.02835 milling

It'll take about .040 mill to achieve a 61cc chamber. That's assuming it's .007 mill per cc. If it's .005 per cc, it's closer to a .030 mill. I've never really measured, I can just go off of what other people have said.

thanks; is there a limit to how far you can mill before intake doesn't line up?

Just food for though...I haven't seen many people mentioning a mill more than .040 on a 241 head. I believe that's around 11:1 anyways which should be fine.
