Thinking about getting the TR 220 .553 114lsa .Will i be able to drive my car to the dealer and still run smooth like stock.

 

well....i'm sure there will be some lobe,if there is they will catch it then your fuc---. my bud has the 218/218 114,and this cam sounds like stock,he does have cats so it's quieter then offroads. goodluck.

 

I have the a Comp XE 218/.563/114 cam in my car and it does not idle like stock. It is very tame compared to other cams, but you can definitely hear the cam in there, especially after it has warmed up. (dealer might hear it, might not) Maybe you should look at the '02 LS6 cam if you want a total sleeper idle.
