you have to go to the LT1 section for this post. do you use nitrous to run 11.52@118 mph?

i don't know what cam are you running now but with more cubes like 383 and 396 you need more cam to get more hp so you might need a bigger cam than the one you have now. you have to specify your current mods so that you can get better answer.

There is no NOS used. Heads and intake are CNC ported. Cam is 233/244 at 600 lift with 1.6 rocker. Long tube header with custom exhaust. 12 bolt rear end with 4.11 and 26in tire.

that cam is good for a stroker. you will gain a little more hp with stroker and the same cam maybe like 40 hp but you will gain alot of torque in the power band so you will accelerate quicker. if you can hook as good as you do now you might do 11.3 to 11.2 @ 122-123 mph in the 1/4 mile. i would go with a 396 if it is NA. if you plan on supercharging or turbocharging then i would go with a 383.

Default building 383 lt1 will it fly

I currently have stock LT1 bottom end with LT4 top end. Which runs 11.52 at 118. I want to build 383.
