Default Best Performance combo for the street?

for around 10K?

Big H/C?
Turbo with forged internals
supercharger with forged internals
250 HP DP N20 with forged internals and nitrous cam

Car is a TRUE Street racing machine, go to the track about once every 6 months

I am gonna be sending the car to MTI and am willing to spend around 10K this is including dyno tuning, labor, and transportation there.

Have all the bolt on's, LT Headers, TH400 tranny, and a 12 bolt

So who would win in a 1/4 race....Big H/C converter, 150 shot or a 10-12lb. turbo with a converter?

Also pistons are 600 and rods are 600 rod bolts, rings, bearings, head studs would be around 700 so that is 1900 plus 7000 for the turbo kit, that is 8900 what else would i need?

it is the LS1 Motorsports kit and comes with fuel upgrades, and I am going to get the boost controller, MTI is doing the install along with dyno tuning, I am looking to run aroun 7-8 lbs. on stock internals for now and when I forge it up it to around 10-12 and retune it. I heard Harlan ran like 10-12 psi on a stock bottom end for like 26,000 miles...

Dont know to much about the labor in the USA but my choice is : A nice heads/cam combo with forged internals+DP Nos system and a nice set up(rear end ratio/convertor)

Yet another vote for the turbo! You may have to exceed $10K for a forged internal motor, but it would definately be worth it. You could get a LS1 Motorsports single turbo tuner kit with a
T-76 and haul some ***!

coming from a guy with a lot of mods, yoiu better figure the tranny and rear into the mix. If it was me I would do a cartek H/C package and rear and suspension.

I already have a TH400 and a 12 bolt

What makes Cartek better than GTP and MTI?

which one do you recommend Colonel? And what times can I expect from a big H/C package with all the bolt ons, TNT 100 shot, TH400 w/3500 stall, 12 bolt w/3.73's on a great tire?

What cam do you recommend for a street racing car that sees the track about 3 times a year? My competion around here is a built 281 Cobra with a 10lb. Vortech..422RWHP.......basically stock 01 SS with 351 RWHP and runs 12.9@113 on street tires, and the usual Mustangs and LT1's

I want to be the big dawg, would H/C/N20 do it?

I was looking at either MTI Stage II Heads milled .030 and the X1 cam....or GTP Stage II 5.3's milled .010 with the TR230....either way I want around 11:1 compression

Tell me the way you would set it up, because you da man

Oh yeah, congrats on the C5R setup, looks
