Question about the Lunati kit main bearings...

Question about the Lunati kit main bearings... Are the main bearings that come with the Lunati stroker kit designed to be used after align honing the mains? Or are you supposed to just remove the stock ones and snap them in?

Re: Question about the Lunati kit main bearings... I don't know if this helps or not. But I was just reading an article in Hot Rod engines winter 2002 about the Lunati kit. It say's that the kit uses King Alecular Mains. It also said that the block should be aligned-honed. it sounds like this is the opinion of Pat Musi who they interviewed for the write up. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />

Re: Question about the Lunati kit main bearings... Pat Musi built my 382 so I guess I must be OK?!? I haven't had amy problems with my bottom end at all, almost 20K miles on it now.
