Angle milling does not increase flow, sometimes it decreases flow, but it does allow you to get higher compression then flat milling. The intake will line up better if you do a combination angle mill/flat mill as opposed to either just angle milling or flat milling. We sometimes do a .000"-.060" angle mill then .030" flat and then correct the intake face back to 80 degrees which usually takes about .030" off of the intake face. We can take about 12-15cc off a chamber like that. You would be tight on P to V clearance like that though, unless you flycut your pistons, which requires pulling the engine to do.

Default Angle milled heads

I was wondering beside decreasing chamber volume, what are the advantages to angle milling the heads? Does it produce greater flow? TIA.
