Default What is needed for new cam?

I want to get a cam for my 2001 WS6. I have mostly stock with a few bolt ons and Hooker LT headers. What do you think would be a good cam for my setup? I want something that has a noticeable lobe. How would this sound with the Hooker LTs and GMMG? Will it have a nice lobe? Please help, i'm confused on this. About how much will everything you need for it cost?
Thanks so much!!!
Also, would a TR224 work? Will it pass emissions? I'm asking a lot, but i just want to learn, thanks!!!

You'll find cam packages at just about any of the sponsors at the right. The kits come with all of the upgraded valvetrain components. The usual price is about $700+.

Mustang Hat'r:
You dropped a lifter I would have died if that would have happened to me

FireHawk T/A: Be sure to follow your cam instructions carefully and turn that cam several times and wait to listen for any lifters falling on the cam. Also, test the tension of the lifters with a pushrod while the cam is still in place. Or, you can purchase 16 magnets and not have to worry about the lifters falling at all. I know I sweated it when we pulled my cam and threw the new one in as quickly as possible.

I have the C2 224 112 lsa cam in my T/A and it lopes nicely (you can tell there is a cam inside)
