need a new shortblock
I just found myself in the market for a new shortblock and need some opinions. I have found mixed reviews so I would like to hear what people have to say about different companies...
Here is what I am looking for:
347ci
Stock crank
Scat or Callies Rods
Diamond Pistons
Basically your average upgrade, nothing fancy...
I am looking at TSP since I already have dealt with them but have heard good things about LME and Futral as well as Speed Inc...
Budget is about $3500..let me hear it!!

they all put out decent shortblocks so i think you will be o.k with any of the three.i would go with who i trust and have dealt with so you know you won't get screwed.i like my tsp 408 shortblock and i had a speed inc 348 but never did use it but any of the 3 you are thinking about have been around for awhile so they aren't going anywhere.

Just got off the phone with LME...man Brian and those guys know their stuff!! A local guy recommended that I call and I did, ordered a new 347 with all the goodies. Ran about $3500 and will be here at the end of the month. Cant wait

I vote LME too, they are not pricier than others and they do quality parts and work. Get quotations part for parts, at LME talk to Brian Neele.
99blancoSS, Luckily I already have all that stuff (basically brand new) as I just did the top end about 2 months ago. I also went ahead and had them do ARP head studs.
