Default Lifter Valley and LS6 intake

Hey guys I am about to tackle a cam swap and am a little uneasy about using magnets to hold up the lifters. I was wondering if I can get to the lifters by just taking the intake manifold off? Also I was wondering if the LS6 intake can just be directly swapped for the ls1 intake, as long as I get an egr equipped one since I have egr? Thanks for the help

Default Re: Lifter Valley and LS6 intake

you can't get to the lifters with intake off need to pull valve covers and go threw the push rod hole and the intake you need the two coolent blockoff plugs on the back of the heads and a bypass tube for the front it goe's from left head to right head
