Which heads with ARE setup
I am planning on doing a N/A setup with a nice big cam with some nice old school lump. But should I stick with my heads when I have them port and polished or should I upgrade to ZO6 Heads or some type of other heads. What type of power gain will I see from changing to ZO6 port and polished over stock port and polished. How much are the ZO6 heads and what tyoe of power am I gonna get form the Stage 2 heads and cam setup. Thanks

Re: Which heads with ARE setup
I cant speak for ARE but I have S2-LS6 heads. They were done by Cartek and after honestly looking at diminish and return,I think its not worth the money.
I'm happy with my setup but if I did it again,I wouldve just redid my LS1 BASED heads.Even better,I couldve don a set of 5.3 heads like Chris P had done by ARE.U get more CR and they finish up very nicely according to Julio/Cartek.
If u want the statis of having LS6 heads then get them but I really think redoing your LS1 heads will be fine.
Are has there NEW design which is making real good power.I would call Wade and talk to him.
Good luck
