Default Looking for a good emmisions friendly cam

Planing my mods out and am toying with the idea for a cam swap - Car is a 2001 M6 and I need to keep CA emmissions. Going to do the normal boltons - keep stock heads / exhaust manifolds / going to go with a cutout for track runs though. Not looking for a monster but better than stock but remain smogable.

Thx

I have read from many that MTI's B1 cam is emissions friendly. Go to the search option and type in B1 cam, I'm sure that it is full of extensive info. including dynos and smog related verbage. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Thunder Racing 220* on a 114* does not set missfire codes so it should pass no problem.Slowhawk made decent power with it also.

Rengegade:
I see that you live in CA. Being that i live in CA and dealt with the Cam Emissions in my SS i had, i would first tell you to stick with the 114 lsa as opposed to the 112.

with that being said and done, I had the TR-224 Cam with FLP longtubes (hi flow cats) and the car passed the California 15mph and 25mph tests flawlessly (sp?)!!!!

On the 15mph test i was allowed i believe 40 hydrocarbons and i showed up like 12-13.

On the 25 mph test i was allowed i believe 35 or so, and the car showed 11 i believe.

TR-224 baby!

If I had to guess as to whether not not a TR-220 112lsa could pass, i think it could be done, but dont quote me on it.
