Rock it I would. It would definately be in the living room, and it would be understood by the other half that it would stay there.

Hell, offer it to GM. Tell them if you give it to them, would they take you on a tour of the plant in Romulus, MI. Never know! Could be an awesome adventure.

Haha, which just makes me want to keep it more I haven't done anything with it, but I'm going to hit the cylinders up with some scotchbrite, clean the thing real good, then spray some clearcoat on the cylinder liners so they don't rust. After that, I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

That's the funniest **** I've heard yet on this thread.

I thought about turning my stock cam into a lamp. It would be very easy to do.

I say make a table out of it as well.

This is what you do...call GM, tell them what you found, and if it's worth anything to them. If they say they don't give a ****, then make a table or scrap it. If they want it back bad 'cause of preproduction/prototype, quickly hang up the phone...and make it a table anyways.

Don't forget to block your number LOL.

Naw naw.. if they say they dont care, tell them you'll be sending it to toyota, that a guy over at toyota R&D wants to make a table out of it for his break room lol.

LOL... I'm sure if Toyota really wanted one they would call up GM parts direct or something and order a complete crate motor, or just buy a car with one in it.

i think you guys are thinking about this WAY too deeply

"oh it could be a prototype block.. one of a kind"

oh GM might want it back because it was stolen and its the new secrete GM motor"

gimmie a break... if it was of some importance to GM.. they DO have some pretty tough security.. its not like someone can walk out of an R&D with a block in their backpack you know

someone at the plant probably got it for free because it was a defect.. took it home, thought about what needs to be done, said screw it, its not worth it... and ditched it somewhere because they didnt want the hassle..
