Collapsed cylinder
Car is a 99 TA
I was getting 0 oil pressure a few weeks ago and decided to chang out the oil pump, and the sending unit before I went into any further costly repairs. After no success I ended up pulling the motor myself and taking it to a local speed shop. They told me that piston #1 collapsed.
What exactly does "collapsed" mean?
How would this effect the oil pressure?
