Default Anyone running Speed Demon heads?

I'm trying to decide what shop to go with. I have a 226/226 cam, and it actually came from Speed Demon. Their name is on the cam card. It seems to me that since it's their grind, their heads would match up with it well. But, I've never heard of anyone running their heads. What do you think?

So they are well proven heads.

As Kewlbrz said, They are GTP heads and are well proven. Sean Gustin and Chris Marsh ran 10.9x's with the "PIG" cam(226/226 591/591) and GTP heads.
I have a set of their stage 3 heads and couldnt be happier

Speeddemon Motorsports rocks no doubt! Chris is extremely knowleagble and offers great customer service and is a stand up guy.

I take it that the PIG cam is sold by Speeddemon. Is the Pig cam on a 112 lope.

I am trying to decide what cam to use with my MTI stage II LS6 heads with my mods listed below on my 98 vette running a auto flp tranny and Yank PT 4000 stall and 3.73 gears. I have it narrowed down to the x1 cam (MTI) with specs of 230/227, .591 on a l12 lope. Do you believe i would be better suited using the pig cam with my mods listed below with the stage II LS6 heads when it comes to ets and traps. I really don't want to shift the stock bottom end above 6600 rpm.

PIG cam vs MTI x1. What's your vote.

Thanks

I have a set of the SpeedDemon Stage IV heads. Never run them yet and I cannot post the flows, right now, unfortunetly, BUT ahhaah they are BIG and efficient.

Chris was great to deal with. My vote would be to go with SpeedDemon. I have also used MTI Stage II and very pleased with those also. But SpeedDemon gets my final vote.

I could post some pics of the SpeedDemon heads if the Vette forum gets their home pages back up....

Yeah, post pics if you can. I had been planning to get lower cost heads, but I think the smart thing would be to save an extra month or two and get the best. But, damn, $2400 If I can get close to the 10's it will be worth it. My cam is a little smaller than the Pig cam. .570 lift.

I'll let you guys know fairly soon hopefully, my stroker ought to be finished shortly. Yes, the heads are done by GTP and alot of hard work and effort goes into them - got to meet craig (GTP owner) the other day and went over to check out his shop. Holy *&*%&, there was aluminum flying and grinders blazing and I actually learned something - thanks craig. I would definitely recommend the speed demon heads
