Are all year LS1 torque specs the same?

Default Are all year LS1 torque specs the same?

Between the Gen I, II, and IIIs? I have a manual and it only covers to 2000 and I have a 2001. Ill need them for rebuilding my motor.

I used a older book to tq down my heads.. Call Al for info Carl..

Carl GM UPGRADED rod bolts in either 2000 or 01 and they allow higher torque level. I dont have specs in front of me but i can get them if you need them.

Thanks guys, I mostly just need to know about the intake, maybe heads (if I dont do studs) and the mains. I have aftermarket rods with ARP bolts. Also setting the valve lash on the rockers. I cant find anything on the 01s so I bought the cheap auto book for a parts store for the 97-2000 years.

I have used 01 TQ specs on my 98 motor, no problems. TQ specs aren't totally important until you start TQ'ing down heads, cam gears, etc...Most of the time I just use German TQ specs.......GewdNTite <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
