I drilled mine in the car! It took some effort though! I ended up using the camshaft centerline reference off the crank centerline and made a template in autocad which I then used to transfer the holes for a punch onto a hard template. (Bolted the template to the car using the cam cover bolts). Used a starter, plug, and bottoming tap after drilling the holes. The end result looks dead on. (chain, gears, etc.)
