Default O-Ringing a block for nitrous???(non-LS1)

I am building a motor for nitrous and I was told that to run over a 100 shot of nitrous that I would need to O-ring my block. Even though I have seen MANY people spray over 200 on a regular head gasket(I will probably running about a 200-225) I plan on running this engine on the street. Do I really need to or can I use a conventional head gasket?

This engine is a SBC 350 bored .040". I have some Scat rods, and TRW forged 2VR pistons. I plan on getting a Scat crank maybe next week or sometime during Xmas. I've got some Dart Iron Eagle heads for this engine also.

Im not a nitrous user but iron heads on a iron block with head studs and you should be ok with just a Felpro stainless steel fire ring type gasket like #1003.Be sure to retorque heads after several normal heat cycles.
