The easiest mods are a lid, a cutout, and a good set of drag radials. Lots of A4 guys have gotten into the 12's w/ nothing else. The free ram air mod is good, as is the throttle body bypass mod. If you have a Dremel tool, porting the throttle body is good. An ASP underdrive pulley costs around $250, but is worth 8-10 ponies. You can usually pick up a used MAFT for $100 or so, & use it to lean out your fuel mix.
