I get a 236/240 with 601/609 114LSA cam on my 422 iron block stroker.

IŽll drive it a lot NA ,but
IŽll spray a 300 shot on it, too.

What springs to choose?

IŽv heard a lot good things about REV dual springs???

I would hate it to break a spring!!

Hmmm.. Those springs might work, but I would go with a sure thing.. Comp 987's or 977's..

Crane 99893's.. I ran these springs as well. Patrick G is running them as well with much success..

I forgot to ask you what rocker arms you are running.. The Cranes are 1.46in in diameter.. On stock 1.7 rocker arms you will need to check the clearance between rocker arm to retainer.. Really, after what I went thru I would check it on any spring..

Then I would look for a spring with a diameter no greater than 1.43in for your setup.. Better yet.. Call one of the tuners that build 422ci's and ask them what spring they run..
