reliable cam for daily driver
I'd imagine some of the more hardcore nothern members of this site would tell you a 230/230 cam is fine <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />
I have had no drivability problems with my 226/226 575/575 114 cam.
Also, it seems the comp 26918's are durable so as long as you have under 600 lift you should be good to use these springs, which are a factory replacement and will use factory retainers.

My car idles at about 875 in gear. My throttle body is drilled to an 11/64th bit. With closed borla there is not much lope, but with it open you hear the cam pretty clearly. Sorry no dyno numbers just track times.
lunati cam with 270/279 510/510 n/a
crane cam with 272/280 500/500 n/a
comp cam with 212/218 522/529 114
gm hot cam with n/a 525/525 112
personally i like the crane and lunati the best but wanted to throw the other 2 in just to see what everyone thinks about them as well.
