Rookie new motor question
Rookie new motor question I have a 408 that was built by a well known supplier. When tightening the balancer bolt I noticed that as the motor turns it has what feels like a slight bind in the same spot as I go around. I listened close and all I could hear was the rings scraping on the cylinder walls. I did get a little rough tapping on the super dampener till I could get the threads to catch on the bolt. Do I need to take the pan back off to inspect everything or is this normal? Ken
