Hey Mikey would I have to run a different pump or what. I will be running a high HP car. WE are hoping for high 4's maybe 500rwhp and that will be off the spray. Also how much?
LS1swap The part number that I was given by the dealership was 12561828 and it lists for 454.90 on GM parts direct. I will research the other number.
I wouldn't think so but maybe the 2000 is different from a 98.but $330 different??

The Gen III oil pan is expensive because it is a complex structural part of the block. The Corvette/LS6 oil pan has side lobes for increased capacity and will not fit in an F-body.

What exactly is the Gen III pan if you don't mind me not knowing. So the second part number that I probably posted is for a Corvette LS6 and not my car?

By the way I will be using the 6.0L Iron block for my new motor will this make any difference here?

The oilpan Valvegod sells is a new GM F-body.
The oilpan that comes in the trucks is deeper but I do not know if it will fit in an F-body.
If it will, I have one I'll sell you complete with the longer truck pick-up.
