BEnt Pushrods??

BEnt Pushrods?? what are the symptoms of bent pushrods? I did an accidental downshift into first when i was going about 45-50 and the engine revved to about 4-4 1/2 rpm. could this have done it?

Re: BEnt Pushrods?? You will hear a loud continuous ticking sound. At 50mph you may of gone deep into the red, unless you caught it in time.
