Default Anyone running a ARE 442 big bore?

I see that on the block page it list a big bore, for use up to a 442. I wondered if they had actually built this for anyone yet? Or is the 432 the biggest?

The biggest i have heard of that is actually in a car already is 436 (436.7cid) something cubes, that a couple of C5 guys on the vette forum our running. Haven't heard of anything built and running over 436 yet, but the technology is certainly now their for taking and then some and its just a matter of days b/f some LS1 fanatics have them built and running in their cars.

Actually Harold funny you say that.

At our last Motown Muscle club event at Grand Bend, there was a gold Trans Am WS6, it had an Agostino banner on it, and was pitting over by the ARE boys. It sayd 442ci C5R on the hood. It was a N20 setup also. The motor let go on its first run around half track, it still ran like 11.0 or something crazy like that.

Yeah didnt that car run 9.50s with 3600-3700 pound raceweight? If I remember correctly it was almost 3800 pounds when it ran 10.90 NA and 9.7X on spray

Ha ha Steve. I was waiting for you to say something. I'm throwing it around, and trying to justify the spending. With the 10% off from ARE, the cost is justified.

Really, I'm trying to talk myself into it

Chris

This is completely true. Actually it ended up going 9.65 with the 3800# raceweight. It still had both stock front seats and working AC and PS also. When we were at Grand Bend we were hoping for some good runs since we took a lot of weight out. We were actually hoping for 9.30-9.20's possibly.
Ohh well.
It will be back out next spring running better than ever.

If I remember he still had radio, full dash, door panels, center console, carpet in the car. I think the front pass seat and rear seats were out right?
