Default C5R Block

Heres a noob question for you guys, how much is a C5R block, and how much for the C5R heads? Just curious. Also...is the C5R block still considered an ls1/6 engine. Or something else. Maybe that isnt worded right...is the car still an ls1 based car? Thanks a lot guys

Block is 6-7k or so
Heads are 6-7k or so

C5R is LS1 based. All the LS1 stuff, heads, cam, intake, exhaust manifolds, etc, are direct bolt ons. It's basically a strengthened LS1 based block with big bores.

Josh

I was going to get a C5R block for my project in my sig. But I was informed that there would be "ZERO" power gains over a normal LS1 block. The C5R is like buying insurance so it can be resleeved if need be, that's all it's good for. C5R heads are a different story though, but I think they're more than the block (not sure though).

C5R blocks, which always come without a rotating assembly are $6100 from our GM sponser Scoggin Dickey.
