Default stroke bore question?

What would be the benefits of using an iron block bored 60 over and a 3.27 crank (4.8 engine) and 6.2 length rods, besides high rpm's? Or not overboring the block, leaving it with stock bore with these crank and rods.

Overboring the block will yield more cubic inches of displacement which equals more rwhp. Going with a smaller stroke crank will allow the motor to rev higher since there will be less angular momentum. With a 3.27" stroke crank, I am pretty sure 6.2 rods would be incorrect.

What kind of cam would you recommend for something like this and would the HP #'s be worth doing something like this?
