Default Another cam Question (Magic stick 4)

ok i have been hearing allot about this magic stick 4 cam! texas speed claims 80 rwhp on a otherwise bone stock 01SS!!! seems like some nice numbers but alot of ppl have been telling me that this cam is not streetable! it is to agressive and would be a bad idea for a daily driver. is this tru? is it possible to make this a streetable cam for a daily driver with a good tune? i love the sound of this cam it is mean, and the numbers that are coming from it seem to be impressive. what are your thoughts?

I have it in my DD, and it is 100% streetable with a good tune. I made 341 with bolt ons, and with the cam, UD pulley, a ported TB and tune I made 431, so roughly 90RWHP gain.

You will want headers first. This cam will choke otherwise. I ran mine for a bit with the stock manifolds/ORY/Borlamouth so I know. It still made 385rwhp but it wasn't until I got headers that the cam opened up. I don't have new numbers yet because in tuning it I found that i should get injectors as they where running over 80% duty cycles in the top end. so I'm waiting to finish that up when the weather clears hear in the northeast. The car drives great otherwise. I drove it to work several times in rush hour traffic and had no problems.

Thats about right. I gained just over 100rwhp, that was with heads too. So that should be about right. As far as streetability. No probs. Even my wife can handle the car with NO probs. As long as you have a good tune, you are set.

I just installed and fired up my M6 with the MS4 at 12:31 A.M, sounds sick as hell, I love the sound of it, I also have the MS3 in my other T/A and it is very streetable as long as you have a good tune.
