Who recommended this cam? Are you wanting a very lopey cam? The one you listed is going to hit HARD. Is the car your daily driver? I'll assume that you don't have to pass emissions. Also, this cam will need to have custom PCM tuning to work well. Give me some info as to what you're wanting from a cam, and I'll try to help you out.

FYI, we will be posting a "Christmas Cam Sale" this week, and it will be priced well. You'll be able to choose from a few different cams, ranging from an emissions-legal cam to one geared towards max HP. Keep your eyes open in the sponsor GP forum.

It will be a street car for fun-drivabilty is important-i DONT have to pass emmisions.

I am just trying to find a cam that will give me goo power throughot the curve i dont care about a few more at peak. Also i do not want to spin very high rpm. Hoping for 6300 or lower.

My opinion..

Too much exhaust duration for your stock exhaust manifolds, too low a lift for your Stage II heads, and too tight of an LSA for a daily driver.

I think you would do much better with a TR-224 with your combo. Even a TR-220 would be good. This would make better low rpm torque and give better throttle response.

That cam won't idle well, and not have good manners in slow traffic.

Thats my opinion...

I agree W/ K&R on this. The ASA cam is limited by class rules to .525" lift, which is why the specs are so weird. WAY too much exhaust duration....

If you have a good exhaust system, and don't want to spray, stick w/ a straight-pattern cam. The TR 224 is a proven winner, but the powerband might be a tad high for you. The TR 220 or the MTI T1 or B1 cams might be a better choice.

Another excellent choice is the cam that Jason has listed in the sponsor's forum. It's a 219/219 on a 112 LSA, with pretty good lift. The price is right, too.
