Default Partrick G's torque cam with stock heads

Is anyone running this setup? What kind of results have you had? It looks like it (224/228 .636/.639) would be best on 110+2 for DCR and valve events with stock heads. Is this too much lift to gain any extra (compared to XER lobe) with just the stock LS6 manifold? Any input would be appreciated. Sorry, my forum search wasn't working tonight for some reason...

Thats a good cam for what you want. On stock heads though you may want to advance it a few more degrees to keep that low end grunt since the stock heads will kill low end due to the large combustion chambers.

Thanks for the input guys. I know Patrick G. has a good set of heads he runs with this cam. Yes, I read all 45 pages of that thread this last weekend...very interesting. I had a 228/232 XE-R cam in mind until I read this, then I thought maybe a little less duration and an LSK lobe would be the way to go. I know he says the "torque cam" would work well with stock heads, but I just wondered if anyone has tried it yet?

That cam will work well with stock heads. Pat G has specd out plenty of cam only cams for people that have had success.
