Head/cam package help... Heads, stage II TEA.. I'm on a budget and these are supposedly great heads also.
Cam- between 220-224 thunder racing cam 114 lsa
car, 99 ws6 a4 mods hooker lts lid orp magnaflow catback, mods before head/cam super yank 3500 stall slp maf ls6 intake
I don't want my car to be overly lumpy at idle i don't want it to sound like it is going to die on me at any time... I would have custom programming done....
How would this package go against a supercharged, ati procharger with 6# boost, and mid-lenght headers or stock manifolds?
I would like to push about 400 rwhp, but is this possible with a a4???
Any other suggestions on what to do or get? 5.3 heads?? milled??? how much hp will this help?

Re: Head/cam package help... I`ve got the S2 heads and a X1 cam from MTI. With the double springs on the heads you can run higher rpms and shift at 6500-6700rpms. The X1 makes awsome power from 4000-6800. I stall at 3200 and she still smokes my 315 Nitto`s bad. My sig show everything I`ve got and just on motor I pulled over 400rwhp with the A4, Vig, and 12-bolt-3.73 and on spray I went mid 500rwhp. She is very streetable with this cam and tuning. I love it, and she sounds sweet. I have no problems with A/C running or nothing. But with a A4 tuning is a must. With a litle TNT you put yourself we`ll into the 500rwhp range. Just remember fuel is important once you get to the 450rwhp mark. I went ahead and put the T-rex and 30lb injectors once I put the wet kit in. Fuel is not a issue for me, it`s traction, hehe <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="gr_eek2.gif" /> Just my .02
