I'm a big believer in the effectiveness of a filter like this, which flows more oil than most.

All the filter makers out there want you to believe that their 10 micron filter is going to protect your engine better, when in fact a higher flow oil filter is better for a hard driven car.

I'm running the K&N oil filters on both of my cars right now.

Another good high flow filter that is less expensive is the Wix or the NAPA Gold (both are the identical filter but the Wix costs less)
