what to do for valve covers?

what to do for valve covers? I have a set of 98 heads that i am going to be using for heads. I have no valve covers for them tho. I will be relocating the coils. I am going to be running T&D rockers. Can i clearance the valve covers enough, or am i going to have to run spacers. Also, could i possibly trade my heads in somewhere for 99+'s? TIA
Re: what to do for valve covers? I don't think anyone makes aftermarket valve covers for 97-98 heads so you would have to buy some stock valve covers, which is not too difficult.
Re: what to do for valve covers? I know they make a spacer for the 99 and up head because I just got a set, will that same set fit up to the 98 head as well? Do they even make spacers for the 98 stock valve cover??? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Confused]" src="images/icons/confused.gif" />
Re: what to do for valve covers? Gordon had a set of valve cover spacers for a '98 for sale in the FS section a while back, and were still for sale as of a week or two ago. Might do a search. Came off his solid roller setup...

Verdad Gallardo Re: what to do for valve covers? Don't believe there is anything for the 1997-98 heads out there to get. I'll send you whatever you want for cheap. You don't need brackets for the coil packs on the 98 covers. As far as relocating the coils, you can do it like I did for under $10 (with exception of plug wires).

Re: what to do for valve covers? Do the C5R covers fit...I know they're a bit pricey, but they look really sweet. Plus Katech will engrave them with whatever you want (if you don't like the "Corvette" engraving that comes standard).

Re: what to do for valve covers? Contact Jay Fisher Pontiac in Elmer NJ. They make 2 types of valve covers, standard height and Tall ones. He can have them iodized in almost any color you want. I have seen them and they look great.
