ok...this may have been asked before, but i read an article in car craft where they took a bone stock ls1, bolted some cnc'd ls6 heads, a fast 90mm intake and throttle body, comp springs and pushrods, and a crane zcam and kooks 1 3/4 headers and it made like 500 horse...anyone done this or seen results like this??

cam they used was a crane HR228 zcam...they are stating that all you need to make 500 horse out of an ls1 is a heads that flow 315 cfm and a cam slightly bigger than stock with the proper bolt ons....car craft november 2006 page 39
