I guess there aren't any other big bore cars here, or 382-383's either. Either of those would be a good comparision for a cam.

Re: Budget calls for a ARE 393 all bore, help me select a cam: That sound good Nasty. I was also thinking about a 238/240 +4 on a 114-115 ls. Wade did mention that I might have to go with bigger valves. I have 2.05 right now, what would I go with?

Re: Budget calls for a ARE 393 all bore, help me select a cam: I have an ARE 382 all bore with the MTI R1 cam and dynoed 408 rwhp and 469 torque through an unlocked converter PI 3200. I dynoed when I had the motor swapped and I also had A new Speed inc race prepped tranny installed at the same time, I didn't drive it much since it was installed late this year. after I break it in some next spring I want to dyno and get some slips.
