hmmm when i don't think i would be satified if i didn't go witht the bigger cam, so i believe i'll go with the 224/114 and up the idle pretty high...

Thanks guys for all the opinions, i just don't want my car to sound like a prostock, not for an everyday driver at least...

I agree that the 220/220 114 LSA will provide you with the best idle, but I think the 224/224 114 LSA is the best all-around cam out there. I had our 224/224, .581"/.581", 112 LSA in my A4 for a while, and I drove the car everywhere. You knew that there was a cam in it, but it wasn't anything too radical for me. I've since moved onto the TSP 228R. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

FYI, we're having a cam sale for the month of December that includes cams very close to what you mentioned. You can check it out at https://ls1tech.com/ubb/ultimatebb.p...;f=10;t=001430.

I know this thread is ancient, but it's the only TR220 soundclip I've found.

Is that a 112 or 114? Can anyone tell?

Go with the LPE GT2-3 Cam it is a 207/220 578/580 118 LSA, talk about stock idle and good performance. I made 370rwhp out of cats and it feels stock driving it.
