Default LS6 Heads Chamber size?

What size are they stock?

What would 60.5 bump the CR to with a stock bottom end and GM head gaskets?

Need some info right away, thanks <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I measured 64cc with 2001 LS1 valves. 60.5cc chamber should be 10.9 to 1 based on 67cc being 10.1 to 1

Cool, thanks guys.

I got these heads already ported but never run. The guy said they werent milled. Had them flowed this weekend and also had the chambers checked and they measured 60.5

I'm still gonna get them resurfaced minimally so I'll be at around 11.0, thats exactly where I wanted to be at <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="gr_images/icons/wink.gif" />

Anyone think I might have a problem with piston/valve clearance?

Running a 222/222 cam, .560 lift

Thanks.

I would feed the motor more cam. Especially with the higher compression and the better breathing LS6 exhaust. Should be closer to a 224/228 .580 lift on a 113 LCA.

Plus I want this car to be VERY streetable since I only make it to the track 3-4 times a year.

GM lists 98-01 and 02-04...can't seem to find a difference, furthermore I thought 01 and 02 heads were cast the same, just with a diff valvetrain.

Thanks,
