CR=(Vcyl + Vcc)/Vcc Where Vcyl is volume of cylinder, Vcc is volume of combustion chamber and CR is, of course, compression ratio. The only thing missing is the calculated increase (area) with cylinder head gasket. I am guessing around .050" on a GM head gasket.

I would imagine that you would add the volume added by the gasket thickness the the volume of the cylinder. Since we can find the gasket thickness and the bore of the cylinder, CR seems to be easier than I thought. Thanks for the post.
