Default PUTTING IN CAM!!! What else should I replace?

I plan on putting in the TR224/224 cam, I will be replacing the rods, and timing chain. The car has 54k on it should I replace the roller lifters and the rocker arms as well? If so what lifters and rockers (and size) would you all recomend? Any help here would be great!

Default Re: PUTTING IN CAM!!! What else should I replace?

I would throw in a good set of bearings, both rod and crank, a new ported oil pump, some ARP rod bolts. If you do the timing chain I would go with a good double roller. I went with the SLP and it works fine for me. If youre car is a low mile car I wouldnt think you need to replace the lifters or the rockers. If you do replace the rockers go with T&D adjustables, they aint cheap but cheaper than the jesels. Depending on your P to V clearance would depend on what size rocker to upgrade to. I would stay with stock ratio though just to be on the safe side.
