Default TR 230/224 on 114 LSA ?

I orderd a 227/224 w 114LSA but it's on back order. Then I read on the TR site that it will spec 226/224. I know I want more than a 224/224 but I dont think a 226/224 is going to a big advantage over the 224/224

I've been thinking about ordering a 230/224 on 114LSA. What do you think?

I want a car that will idle good, but I still have max power.

What do you think about 230/224 on a 114LSA?
Will I lose alot of TQ and mid range w 114LSA?

I would talk to TR. I think that is a pretty high LSA for that cam. When it first came out they said 114 would be too high, but maybe they've changed their minds. You'll definitely need some advance ground in to make it work, and probably will need high shift points too.

Screw that idea. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

I just talked to Paul.

The powerband would be way to high. Like 5 to 7000

Jason said that I'd have to shift it at 7K, so I just went with the 227/224 on a 114, and I shift it around 6800.
