The only 6.0L heads anyone does are aluminum, because the iron version are simply LS1 heads cast in iron. We have a set CNC ported and ready to go, this head out of the box is 70cc. These heads have a 4.000" bore on the chamber and may not be the best choice for a 3.9" bore engine. A better and less expensive choice would be a 5.3 or 5.7 head with out CNC program that opens the chamber to 73cc and is 3.950" bore size. The 6.0L cores are at least $400, the 5.3 is $300 and the 5.7 is $250, so you save $150 on the cores and have even bigger chambers then the 6.0L heads. We do have a CNC program to open the 6.0L heads to 77cc but it is about a 4.030" bore diameter head, so it is made for the bigger engines. Hope this helps.

It is for my friend and he was asking me about the best heads for FI so i suggested the 6.0 heads. I will just give him your phone number and he can contact you about the heads. He knows more about his application if you know what i mean . Thank you

I just had two questions, If i wanted the 6.0 heads will it fit on a stock LS1 engine? (I thought they should fit) Because i sensed that u dont recommend it for a stock engine. Of course the engine will have a SC and i heard that the 6.0 are the best for FI, but did u mean stock displacment?

Most people say that the 6.0L head is the best for a FI engine specifically because of the bigger 70cc chamber. The only choice you used to have is the 6.0L, because the 5.7 chamber is 67cc, the LS6 is 64cc, and the 4.8/5.3 stock chamber is 58cc, our 4.8/5.3 is 63cc after we CNC it. But with our new 73cc CNC programs for the 4.8/5.3/5.7 chamber you can have an even bigger chamber then comes with the 6.0L without the $400 price tag of the cores. For example we can CNC your friends heads to flow as much as any Stage II 6.0L head we have seen and the diameter of the chamber is still only 3.950", compared to the 4.000" of the 6.0L. The biggest problem with the 6.0L is the availibility of the cores, they are hard to find. Let us know if we can help.
