Depends on how you go about lowering your compression, like getting low compression pistons or just a thicker gasket or bigger cc chamber on your heads. Your horsepower question would depend on what heads and cam and also how low compression you are deciding on going.

how much headwork? what size cam? how much compression? the specifics are critical before making any guess..

my car dynoed 301 rw on 8.75 compression & a small turbo cam and stage one ARE heads, no lid, longtube headers, no cats, ls6 intake, ported throttlebody

remind you this *should* wake up considerably once the boost shows up to get to my 600rw goal.. if it doesnt, then its blown up and going back to ARE again.
