I bought my 918's from TR around June and never used them, I sent them back to TR this month to get them exchanged. No hassles at all.

Default What did Comp Cams do for your trouble? (918's)

I just snapped a 918 last night. I haven't done anything about it yet. Looks like the spring is the only damage(visually).

I called comp cams to see what they do for me. I would have to send all of the springs in, wait for them to determine something, then they might ship me replacement springs. I tried to get them to send me new springs as an immediate replacement. I asked if I could go to a vendor locally to swap the old/broken for the new ones. nope.

Anybody get some better compensation for their trouble? If so, what do I need to do?

BTW, No I do not have the install height specs etc. A local machine shop installed them. They have less than 1k miles on them. I don't remember seeing any stripes on them. They were purchased abou 2-3 months ago. .566 lift cam.

Comp will replace the 918's for free no matter what is wrong with them. You will just have to get them off the car first. I sent my set of unused 918's in to get the updated blue stripe set and had em back within a week.
