the v3 has a smaller exhuast duration ( 231 vs 232) than the v2.

Actually the v3 has a smaller intake duration (231 vs 232).

right, that was the difference.

so either way. The difference was minimal. But the torquer v2 is supposed to make more hp or the v3?

Yeah there are lots of people with the Torquer 3. There was a guy that recently put down some pretty impressive #'s if you want to run a search in the dyno section.

I talked to TSP and they said it should make 5-10 rwhp more than a tv-2 and a little better low end. That high lift on XE-R lobes has me a little wary though. I don't want to mess with changing springs very often. I think i am prolly going with something 230 max duration and keep the lift close to 600. Should still haul ***!!

I've been doing searches all day, but havent really come across any that were too specific. Cuz i know my a4 will steal some of my power. I won't be taking this car to the track, maybe once or twice, is this still for me? I'll be getting a stall still.

I just finished installing the Tqr 3 cam and 5.3 stage 2.5 head.

I love it .. Car awesome. Only problems is you can not idle the car in traffic in 1st, bucks a little. And cant go below 70 in 6th. Other than that its awesome.

Just had it tuned at diablo sport and did 430 hp.

Power curve was awesome and toped out at about 4350rpm.

I did use stock length rods. I would recomend using larger injectors it made tuning a lot easier.

Its hard to say really. If I were you I would look at the 230/224 (thunder racing) if your planning on keeping it on the street. It'll give you better street manners and still sound pretty good. I think you would be happier with that by the sounds of it.

Just finished the install tonight. It fired right up and warmed up fine and stumbeled around and died constantly while driveing. Which is to be expected until I get a tune. As the "how to" guide said not to go above 4000rpm first drive I didnt. But heres the sad part. From 3000 to 4000 when I floor it to see what it has, its a joke. My camry wouldnt have any trouble keeping up. I am shocked. I drove it for a while and still, poor. It has no where near the power it used to have and at low rpms its a slug. Im getting a tune in a week and a half but I cant imagine it will make that much of a difference. Any ideas Thanks

a few thoughts:

1. get a tune
2. what rocker arms are you running?
3. did you use a pushrod length checker?

my car only made 387/359 cause i used the wrong size pushrods and it still is pretty darn fast. so i think you have a serious problem. I HAVE A SERIOUS TICK GOING ON UNDER THE HOOD SO I'M GONNA SWITCH TO 7.425" PUSHRODS AFTER CONSULTING TSP AND SEE IF THAT SOLVES THE TICKING AND LACK OF HORSEPOWER. I'LL REPORT BACK WHEN THATS DONE
