Default g5x2!

what do you guys think bout the g5x2 cam. i believe the specs are 232/240 595/608 on a 112 or 114 for an A4. car is a daily driver. but i do want something bad *** and potent but not over done. also, will a vig 3200 stall with 3.73 and be enough to push this cam around. also, how do u think it will perform compared to the tsp torquer v2. im eventually gonna do heads. not sure if i should go with afr, or some ls6 heads... whatcha guys think. i wanted a cam big enough to run hard on some roll races, and still have under the curve and also some sick torque coming off the dig.

hey mark, that lift might be just a little too much for me though. i dont want to worry bout the spring life and all. how do u think that g5x2 would fair vs. the torquer v2? for all around power through out the power band?

TX,

With today's spring tech, those lifts are nothing to be scared of. That LSK/XE-R grind is not more harmfull than the XE-R/XE-R grind.

To answer your question, I feel the X2 is a better grind unless you have a super free exhaust like duals with X.
They will have similar output, but the X2 might have a bit more trq due to the better exhaust scavenging VEs.

Not too many cams out there better than the G5 series. LG did their home work with them.
